How it all started
My name is Summer. When my daughter, Piper, was 5 years old, she asked for a kitten. Rather than saying yes right away, I saw an opportunity to turn it into a meaningful lesson—putting in her own effort to make it happen. I told her she could have one if she earned the money herself. Piper was excited and got straight to work, creating handmade crafts with heart and determination. But as we searched for a safe, kid-friendly space where she could sell her creations and learn real-world skills, we realized there wasn’t one. That gap sparked an idea—and that’s how My Little Venture was born: a platform where kids like Piper can turn their dreams into action in a fun, supportive environment.
